SSS Sri Lanka

Deacon Emilio Agostinho Sozinho Mossa, SSS, arrived in Sri Lanka in 2018 to pursue his religious formation and theological studies at the National Seminary, Kandy, being attached to our Scholasticate community . He dedicated five years for this, immersing himself in the pursuit of knowledge, formation and spiritual growth.

After successfully completing his five-year journey, he was ordained a priest on the 8th of July 2023 at the Church of Saint Anne (Santana), Maputo, Mozambique.
In gratitude for the exceptional formation and guidance he received from the Province of Christ Bread of Life, Sri-Lanka, Deacon Emilio extended a heartfelt invitation to the Provincial Superior, Rev. Fr. Justin Chawkan, sss to be present at his ordination. The presence of Fr. Justin in Mozambique at his ordination added a sense of unity and shared celebration to the joyous event.

Rev. Emilio’s ordination symbolizes a significant milestone in his spiritual journey. In addition, his dedication to serving others through his priestly ministry is a testament to his unwavering commitment to his faith and calling. As he embarks on this new chapter, he carries with him the blessings and well-wishes of all of us in Sri Lanka, who stand beside him in support and encouragement. Congratulations dear Fr. Emilio!!!
